About Us

CancerCare leads the way in integrated oncology care in the Western and Eastern Cape. Established in 1989 by Dr Leon Gouws as GVI Oncology, CancerCare has grown into one of South Africa’s premier cancer care providers. We now operate nine centres and care for over 2,500 new patients annually.
