Our Journey

The journey began in 2010 with the vision to establish a psychiatric hospital in the Northern Cape. By 31 August 2015, we welcomed our first patient. We identified several important needs: the lack of psychiatric beds in the province, the need to prevent patients from traveling to other provinces for admission, and the importance of high-quality psychiatric care in the Northern Cape.

Careline Clinic is proud to be the first private mental health hospital in the Northern Cape. We offer:

• 24 male and 24 female voluntary admission beds

• 20 beds dedicated to child and adolescent psychiatry

• 20 beds in the Folang substance-abuse rehabilitation facility

Our multi-disciplinary team works cost-effectively for the local community.
