Careline Clinic Private Psychiatric Hospital Kimberley offers a caring, healing service for mental health in Kimberley. We focus on respect, dignity, and real support for every patient. Our team works closely with each person and creates a plan that fits their needs.
Our vision leads everything we do. We uphold human dignity through a caring and healing service for all. We build a strong multi-disciplinary team that delivers core psychiatric services across the Northern Cape. In addition, we aim to reduce the stigma around mental illness.
We maintain high professional standards at all times. Our team supports one another and strives for excellence. We also use resources wisely so we can continue to serve the community. Furthermore, we invest in research, training, and ongoing development.
We offer a wide range of psychiatric services to meet different needs.
Adult Voluntary Psychiatry — We provide inpatient care for adults who need hospital-level psychiatric treatment.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry — We care for younger patients who require admission and structured support.
Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation — Through the Folang Facility, we guide patients through recovery from addiction.
We always aim to deliver compassionate and high-quality care.
At Careline Clinic, we create a warm and welcoming space. We treat every patient with empathy and respect. Our staff provide professional psychiatric and nursing care in a calm setting.
We also help patients build strong coping skills. Through psychotherapy, we teach practical ways to manage stress and life challenges. As a result, patients feel more confident in handling daily situations.
In addition, we focus on safety. Our management team works actively to reduce risks. We create a secure and positive space for both patients and staff.
Careline Clinic began in 2010 with a clear goal. We wanted to establish a psychiatric hospital in the Northern Cape. By 31 August 2015, we admitted our first patient.
We recognized key needs early on. Many patients had to travel far for care. The province also lacked enough psychiatric beds. Therefore, we stepped in to provide local, high-quality treatment.
Today, we proudly stand as the first private mental health hospital in the Northern Cape. We offer:
24 male and 24 female voluntary admission beds
20 beds for child and adolescent psychiatry
20 beds in the Folang rehabilitation facility
We support both inpatient and outpatient clients. Patients can book appointments with our social worker and psychologists.
Admission length depends on each patient’s needs. Our team assesses every case carefully. Patients can call or visit us directly for admission guidance.
We also follow strict health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 measures. Our treatment approach includes evidence-based psychiatric care, psychotherapy, and personalized support.
We provide 24/7 care, and we welcome walk-ins. We treat every person with dignity and respect. Our environment feels safe, warm, and supportive.
Moreover, we offer a full range of psychiatric services in one place. Our dedicated team supports long-term recovery and healing. If you or a loved one needs help, we are ready to care and support you.
