Carl Swanepoel ENT Specialist Pretoria is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist with extensive training in general and advanced ENT conditions.
Dr. Carl Swanepoel qualified as an ENT specialist from the University of Pretoria in 1998 and has practised for over two decades. He started his career at Secunda Mediclinic and Highveld Mediclinic. In 2004, he established his practice at Life Groenkloof Hospital in Pretoria. Then, in 2021, he moved his practice to Cintocare, Head and Neck Hospital at Menlyn Main, Pretoria.
Besides his private practice, Dr. Swanepoel serves as a consultant to 1 Military Hospital. He also works part-time as a consultant for the Speech and Language Pathology Department at the University of Pretoria. In addition, he founded and runs a multi-disciplinary voice clinic and a dizziness and balance clinic. He has taken part in international courses, workshops, and hospital visits to build his knowledge of ENT, head, and neck conditions.

He treats vocal cord issues in professional voice users such as teachers and singers. For laryngeal cancer, he provides micro-endoscopic surgery for benign and malignant vocal fold lesions.
Dr. Swanepoel provides cochlear implantation for patients with profound sensorineural hearing loss. He also offers bone anchored hearing aids for conductive hearing loss and Vibrand Soundbridge for individuals with mixed hearing loss.
