Founded by Dr Yi Zhang and Dr Chunlan Li, the centre focuses on restoring balance to the body using holistic, personalised care.

Dr Yi Zhang brings over four decades of experience to his patients. He earned his Bachelor of Chinese Medicine from Gansu University of Chinese Medicine. Since then, he has combined clinical practice with academic and leadership roles. Notably, he worked as Professor and Vice-Director at Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and later served as a Senior Lecturer in South Africa from 1997 to 2001.

Beyond his clinical duties, Dr Zhang plays an active role in the TCM community. He co-founded Chinaherb Pty Ltd, a company that produces herbal formulas based on traditional recipes. In addition, he holds key positions such as Vice Chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Association and Vice President of the South Africa Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He is also a registered practitioner with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.
