Clementine Chawane Psychiatrist Honeydew

Clementine Chawane is a Psychiatrist in Honeydew. She Chawane completed her BSc degree in Physiology and Biochemistry at MEDUNSA in 2003, followed by her medical degree from the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine in KwaZulu Natal in 2008. She began her medical career at Mankweng Hospital in Pietersburg during her internship year and later moved to Sheshego Hospital for her community service.

Driven by her passion for mental health, she returned to Mankweng Hospital in 2012 as a Medical Officer in the Psychiatry department. Seeking further growth and experience, she joined Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital in Krugersdorp in 2013. In 2014, she became a registrar at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital through the University of the Witwatersrand. Finally, in 2018, she obtained her Fellowship from the College of Psychiatrists of South Africa (FC Psych SA).
