Coram Deo Pastoral Counselling Training Centre Pretoria offers pastoral counselling, narrative therapy, training, and support for individuals, families, and communities.
We are accredited by the University of Pretoria and use a narrative-based approach to therapy. Our approach is pastoral but non-doctrinal. Therefore, we do not impose beliefs on anyone. Instead, we create a safe space where people can explore faith, healing, and personal growth.
We recognise that faith can both heal and hurt. For this reason, our mission is to walk alongside people who seek understanding and restoration. We offer a respectful space for people to explore their experiences and work towards positive change.
Our services support people and groups who face personal, emotional, or relationship challenges. We provide:
Our work combines pastoral care with narrative-based therapy. However, the approach remains non-doctrinal. This allows individuals to explore their own faith, experiences, and personal growth without imposed beliefs.
We also provide spaces for meaningful discussion and group healing. In addition, our counselling, coaching, facilitation, and mediation services support healthier relationships and communities.
We offer a comprehensive Advanced Programme in Pastoral Narrative Therapy, which the University of Pretoria accredits. The programme uses small-group, interactive, face-to-face learning. Furthermore, people can complete the programme in person across South Africa or online worldwide.
This learning approach creates opportunities for active participation and meaningful interaction. At the same time, the online option allows us to reach people around the world.
As we expand our reach, we seek collaborations with local government, businesses, and community organisations. Through these partnerships, we aim to foster healing and empowerment on a larger scale.
Our work therefore brings together counselling, therapy training, coaching, facilitation, and mediation. Through these services and programmes, we support individuals, professionals, families, and communities seeking healing, understanding, and personal growth.
