About Daniel Balassone

Daniel Balassone joined OAPL in January 2020 and now leads the NSW Orthotics team, overseeing the clinics at Alexandria and Parramatta. Prior to his role at OAPL, Daniel spent five years working at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. There, he gained extensive experience in managing paediatric patients with various neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

Daniel’s expertise lies primarily in both paediatric and adult neurological orthotic care. He focuses on delivering the best outcomes by utilising advanced technologies in Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFO) and Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthoses (KAFO). His approach combines clinical knowledge with innovative solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Daniel is a dedicated father to two daughters. He is also passionate about sports and enjoys discovering great coffee, reflecting his energetic and approachable personality.
