After that, she served in the South African Defence Force. She later supervised dental students in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Witswatersrand. In 2011, she opened her private practice, which has grown into a team of skilled professionals.

Dr. Hajee specialises in implantology and orthodontics. She keeps up with advances in dental technology. The practice offers CBCT 3D radiography and BIOLASE laser treatments. Outside the practice, Dr. Hajee enjoys family time, sewing, painting, quilling, and cooking.
