Dr Andrew Newham grew up in Pretoria and attended Pretoria Boys’ High School, graduating in 1977. He studied medicine at the University of Cape Town and completed his internship at Frere Hospital in East London. Then, he gained experience in general medicine, care for older patients, and paediatrics. Additionally, he spent a year in Switzerland at the University of Basel, learning new medical techniques.

Now, Dr Newham works closely with Dr Gary Groenewald. Dr Groenewald is a certified laparoscopic surgeon and has years of experience in pelvic floor surgery.
