About

Dr Cassim Haffejee, BChD (UWC), PgDip Minor Oral Surgery (UWC), graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2015. He completed his community service at East Boom Community Health Centre in Pietermaritzburg in 2016. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Minor Oral Surgery and is currently pursuing a second postgraduate diploma in Forensic Odontology. In addition, he works part-time as a supervisor and lecturer at UWC’s Faculty of Dentistry.

Dr Haffejee enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular focus on minor oral surgical procedures and endodontics. His calm and reassuring bedside manner, combined with his dry humour, helps patients feel at ease during treatments.

He sees patients as individuals and believes in treating them with empathy and respect. His commitment to patient care ensures they receive clinically sound advice and the best possible treatment options. Patients appreciate his attentive approach and ability to put them at ease.

Dr Haffejee continuously expands his knowledge by attending conferences, events, and online training. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing the guitar, and running.
