Subsequently, he attended the University of Cape Town, where he earned his medical degree in 2005. Following this, he embarked on extensive surgical training within the University of Witwatersrand medical circuit, dedicating three years as a general surgery registrar and five years as a plastic surgery registrar. In 2022, Dr. Tjasink relocated to Cape Town.
