Description

Dr Guy Stewart – Consultant Psychiatrist – Bristol

Dr Guy Stewart – Consultant Psychiatrist – Child and Adolescent – Bristol brings over ten years of NHS experience to Clinical Partners’ Bristol clinic. He earned his MBBS, followed by an MSc in War & Psychiatry, and holds a BA in English Literature. Moreover, he gained membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych). Before entering medicine, he worked in print journalism and taught overseas. Consequently, he developed strong communication skills and cultural insight. Dr Stewart grew up in rural Cornwall, where early encounters with child and adolescent mental health services shaped his passion for psychiatry. Furthermore, he values understanding each young person’s world, which guides how he assesses emotional, behavioural, and neurodevelopmental concerns. His relaxed, approachable manner helps put children and families at ease. As a result, he quickly builds the strong therapeutic relationships that lead to lasting progress.
