Practice Information and Opening Hours

Please note that Devonshire Green & Hanover Medical Centres will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, 25 August 2025. We will reopen the following day as normal.
If you require urgent medical assistance while we are closed, please call the surgery and the GP Collaborative will assist you. Alternatively, you can dial 111. However, only call 999 in the event of a genuine medical emergency.

Repeat Prescriptions Made Easy

Patients on regular medications can easily request repeat prescriptions once they are authorised by a doctor. In addition, we offer a prescription phone line for your convenience.
To use this service, call our usual surgery number and choose OPTION 1. Then, leave a message with your name, date of birth, and the medication you need.
Please allow two full working days (Monday to Friday) for prescriptions to be processed. Consequently, it’s helpful to plan ahead.

Booking Appointments with Dr Helen Briddon GP Sheffield

To book an appointment, call the practice and select OPTION 3 to reach Reception. Alternatively, if you’re registered for online services, you may book online at your convenience.
