We accept various medical aids to make consultations affordable. Dr  is contracted with the following providers Including

Patients who belong to these medical aids will not face co-payments, as long as they have available funds, because consultations are charged at the medical aid’s rate. Rates may differ based on the specific plan, so we encourage you to check the details.

If your medical aid is not listed, we charge the practice consultation rate. In this case, patients may incur co-payments depending on the plan and the coverage.

After Hours and Emergency Care

Finally , If your child experiences an emergency after hours, Dr Heyns Pediatrician  offers support. We recommend that you take your child to the Emergency Room at Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital. A team of highly skilled emergency specialists will assess and treat your child. If necessary, Dr Heyns or the on-call pediatrician will provide further consultation or follow-up.

Above all uur after-hours coverage includes:

• Weekdays from 5 pm to 8 am the next morning
• Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am
• Public holidays

After-hours visits incur an additional charge. The consultation rate may vary with the pediatrician on call.
