Dr Kaveshree Govender is a highly skilled cardiologist specialising in heart rhythm disorders and cardiac implantable electronic devices. Originally from Pietermaritzburg, Dr Govender studied medicine at the University of Witwatersrand and went on to specialise in internal medicine and cardiology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. After gaining experience as a general cardiologist at Greys Hospital, she completed a prestigious fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. Dr Govender now practices in Johannesburg, providing expert care to patients not only in South Africa but across Africa.
