Dr Krysia Teodorczuk is a Clinical Psychologist at MemoryCare Parktown, where she has practised since 2018. She earned her BSc at Rand Afrikaans University, then returned to complete a BA (Hons) in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Psychology at the University of Johannesburg, graduating with distinction. Furthermore, she holds professional registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).
During her postgraduate training, Dr Teodorczuk completed placements at Akeso Clinic and Helen Joseph Hospital. Additionally, she undertook her internship at Sterkfontein Hospital and community service at Chris Hani Baragwaneth Academic Hospital. Consequently, she gained extensive experience in trauma, forensic psychology, and neuropsychiatric assessment.
Moreover, her early research focused on positive psychology interventions and trauma recovery. She published a chapter on sexual violence in an academic volume and co-authored articles in the British Journal of Guidance & Counselling. In addition, she presents regularly at professional symposia on adolescent well-being and resilience.
Finally, at MemoryCare Parktown, Dr Teodorczuk co-developed the clinic’s memory rehabilitation workshops, which blend positive psychology techniques with family-systems therapy. She also spearheaded the adoption of digital cognitive assessment tools and mentors junior clinicians through weekly case-review seminars.

Furthermore, the clinic utilises a secure PatientConnect™ portal for appointment booking, result sharing, and telepsychology links, making care coordination seamless. Regular multidisciplinary case reviews ensure that each treatment plan adapts to evolving patient needs and emerging research.
In addition to her clinical role, Dr Teodorczuk leads community outreach seminars on healthy ageing, early detection of cognitive decline, and trauma-informed care across Johannesburg.
