About Our Practice

Our Cape Town GP practice has served the City Bowl community for over 40 years. Dr Pieter Cilliers founded the practice, and Dr Louis Botha took over in 1994. Dr CP van der Merwe worked alongside both doctors for many years. In 2009, we partnered with Medicross to become Cape Town Medicross Clinic. The practice remains privately owned by our doctors, who guide its operational strategy. Today, we manage over 50,000 patient files and welcome an average of 15 new patients daily. Our team includes four full-time GPs, two qualified sisters, one nurse, three reception staff, one accounts staff, one practice manager, and two support staff.

Dr Vickesh Ramjee specializes in cardiovascular disease, HIV management, travel health, and holistic medical care.
