Description

Dr Lisa Walker – Principal Clinical Psychologist – London

Dr Lisa Walker – Principal Clinical Psychologist – London leads Harwood Child Psychology’s neurodevelopmental assessment and learning needs services for children and adolescents. She earned her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East London in 2017, after completing an MPhil in Psychology and Education and a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Consequently, she brings rigorous academic training and multidisciplinary expertise to her role at Harwood.

Moreover, Dr Walker has practised within NHS CAMHS since 2017 and currently supervises practitioners working in schools. Therefore, she uses that frontline experience to shape the practice’s face‑to‑face assessments. As an Associate Clinical Tutor on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate at UEL, she also trains emerging psychologists in advanced diagnostic techniques. Thus, Harwood’s clients benefit from both her hands‑on clinical skills and her commitment to professional development.

Throughout her tenure at Harwood Child Psychology, Dr Walker focuses on delivering personalised, evidence‑based evaluations. She collaborates closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure that every assessment yields clear insights and actionable recommendations. As a result, children and young people receive diagnostic clarity and support plans tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
