Dr Riley completed his medical training at St. Barts and the Royal London School of Medicine in 2001. He went on to train at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and completed his Orthopaedic training in Oxford. In 2013, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr Riley also holds a Diploma in Hand Surgery from Manchester University, achieved in 2016.
Furthermore, Dr Riley was awarded the Oxford Hand Surgery Fellowship. He has also attended visiting fellowships at the Mayo Clinic and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. His NHS practice is based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
