About

Dr Oonagh Duffy is a Clinical Psychologist based in Glasgow. Originally from Ireland, she studied Psychology at university and later earned a PhD in Epidemiology and Health Psychology at the University of Aberdeen. Her research focused on menopausal symptoms in North East Scotland, exploring how individuals respond to menopause with resilience and vulnerability. She has shared her research at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Duffy moved to Glasgow to complete a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Glasgow. Her training involved work in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Adult Mental Health Services, Learning Disabilities, and Clinical Health. After qualifying, she worked for six years in the NHS, gaining experience in Maternity Services, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Clinical Psychology, and CAMHS.

In 2018, Dr Duffy began building her independent practice. Since 2021, she has focused solely on this service. She also provides coaching, teaching, and training for the Intensive Care Society Staff Wellbeing programme.
