About Our Long-Standing Practice

The practice stands in Calvinia near the beautiful Hantam mountains. It first opened in 1976. Dr Erwin Coetzee guided the practice for many years. In 2020, Dr Pieter Gräbe and Dr Yolandi Gräbe continued this legacy. They lead with dedication and a strong commitment to community health. We accept most medical aids. Cash patients remain welcome as well. New patients only need proof of identity and medical aid details.

General Medical Services

We offer many basic medical services. These include general health check-ups and physical exams. We provide blood tests for routine or urgent needs. We also offer mental health support through a visiting psychologist. Our team helps with family planning, women’s wellness, vaccines, and immunizations. We dispense medications when possible to make treatment simple and convenient.

Small Procedures at the Practice

We perform many minor procedures in clean and safe rooms. These include biopsies, adenoidectomies, tonsillectomies, circumcisions, vasectomies, and skin lesion removal. We manage wounds, treat fractures, and repair toenails. We offer ear syringing and minor eye procedures. Our team treats hand and tendon issues like carpal tunnel release and De Quervain’s release. We also provide resting and stress ECGs for heart health checks. You can book these procedures in advance.

Practice Hours and Appointments

We open Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 13h00, and again from 14h00 to 17h00. On Saturdays, we open from 10h00 to 12h00. Sundays and public holidays remain reserved for emergencies only. After-hour visits carry extra fees. You can call to make an appointment or book a procedure ahead of time.
