Dr Swapna Anchuri GP Peterborough leads a patient-focused, inclusive practice that values both clinical excellence and future GP education. Therefore, our surgery hosts GP Registrars and Foundation Year 2 doctors (F2s) who contribute under close supervision. Moreover, their support expands appointment availability and strengthens patient services.
GP Registrars are doctors who are fully qualified and completing specialist training to become General Practitioners. Typically, they’ve worked in hospital settings for at least two years before joining us. Consequently, they bring strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge. Registrars stay at the practice for up to one year. Furthermore, our senior GPs offer daily oversight and mentorship.
Similarly, Foundation Year 2 doctors are in their second year of postgraduate training. Although licensed, they are still choosing a career path. For this reason, they rotate into general practice for four months. Additionally, our team closely supervises F2s to ensure safe and effective care.
We offer various appointment types based on your needs. For example, you can consult by phone, in person, or via video. Likewise, follow-up care might happen through text or email. This approach ensures your care is timely and convenient.
