Theo Van Der Walt Dentist Gardens is the founder of Patheodent in Cape Town. He graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1983. After graduating, he practised dentistry in the UK for a year. He then returned to South Africa and joined Dr. Pat Josephson in Cape Town. Today, Dr. Van Der Walt enjoys practising all areas of dentistry. However, he has a particular focus on endodontics, cosmetic restorations, and dental implants.

Theo Van Der Walt Dentist Gardens Qualifications
Dr. Van Der Walt completed a postgraduate diploma in dental implantology at the University of the Western Cape in 2007. In addition, he served on the committee for the Cape Society for Dental Implantology for three years.
He is also a member of the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (SAAAD) and the South African Dental Association (SADA). Furthermore, he is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Life Outside Dentistry
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Van Der Walt stays active through cycling and running. He is married to Marjoleine, who works as a graphic designer. Together, they have two children, Daniel and Alex.
