About Dr. Theo Van Der Walt, Dentist
Dr. Theo Van Der Walt is the founder of Patheodent in Cape Town. He graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1983 and practised dentistry in the UK for a year before returning to South Africa. He then joined Dr. Pat Josephson in Cape Town. Dr. Van Der Walt enjoys practising all aspects of dentistry, with a particular focus on endodontics, cosmetic restorations, and dental implants.

Additional Information
Dr. Van Der Walt completed a postgraduate diploma in dental implantology at the University of the Western Cape in 2007. He also served on the committee for the Cape Society for Dental Implantology for three years. Dr. Van Der Walt is a member of the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (SAAAD), the South African Dental Association (SADA), and he is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Outside of dentistry, he stays active by cycling and running. Dr. Van Der Walt is married to Marjoleine, a graphic designer, and they have two children, Daniel and Alex.
