Elle Dwyer is a qualified and passionate physiotherapist who focuses on caring for the whole person, not just their symptoms. She completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2015, after earning a Bachelor of Science there in 2012. Since then, she has built her career on providing treatment that blends science, movement, and a strong understanding of the mind-body connection.
To support her clients further, Elle has completed additional training in dry needling, clinical Pilates, yoga for rehabilitation, and clinical mindfulness. These skills allow her to offer care that treats the body and also supports emotional wellbeing. Elle works closely with each client, aiming to understand their goals, needs, and what matters most to them.
Her approach is calm, clear, and respectful. She takes time to listen and uses a wide range of treatment options to help her clients recover and move better.
Elle’s services cover a wide range of physical concerns, with a focus on lower limb and pelvic conditions, women’s health, and movement rehabilitation. She also draws from mindfulness and breath work when needed. Her services include:
Physiotherapy for Injury and Pain: Elle treats lower limb, hip, and pelvic issues using simple, proven methods. She combines hands-on techniques with clear exercises to help clients feel stronger and more stable.
Women’s Health Support: Elle offers guidance and treatment for pelvic floor concerns, pregnancy-related pain, and recovery after childbirth. She creates a safe space for women to ask questions and receive care tailored to their needs.
Dry Needling: This method targets muscle tightness and pain. Elle uses it to support healing and improve movement.
Clinical Pilates: These guided sessions build strength, balance, and body awareness. They are often used during recovery or as part of ongoing injury prevention.
Rehabilitation Yoga: Elle uses yoga to help improve posture, breathing, and flexibility, especially for those with ongoing pain or stress.
Mindfulness in Treatment: For some clients, Elle includes simple mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress, support healing, and improve focus during recovery.
Elle began her journey in health because she wanted to help people move more freely and live with less pain. Over time, her interest in pelvic and hip conditions grew, especially after working with women during and after pregnancy. She believes that treating pain is only part of the solution; helping people understand their own bodies and habits plays a big role in long-term improvement.
Elle’s clients often say they feel heard and supported. They appreciate her calm approach, clear explanations, and the trust she builds in each session.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a long-term condition, or seeking support through a life change like pregnancy, Elle brings a clear, caring, and practical approach to help you feel better and move with ease.
