Elonie de Klerk serves as a Counselling Psychologist at Paardevlei Therapy Centre in Somerset West. She earned her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and holds an Honours in Psychology from North-West University, along with a Bachelor of Human Science from the University of Johannesburg. Early on, she balanced full-time work and her undergraduate studies through distance learning, demonstrating strong dedication and resilience.

Before specialising in psychology, Elonie spent four years touring internationally with a performance-arts company. She then taught life skills through dance to underprivileged children for three years. During her internship, she focused on student well-being, working closely with adolescents and young adults. Since 2018, she has maintained a private practice where she engages a diverse clientele, drawing on her multicultural experiences.

As a trauma survivor, Elonie brings genuine empathy and insight to every session. She believes deeply in each client’s capacity for healing and growth.
