Emrie van Tonder Physiotherapy – Specialised Care for Optimal Recovery in Pretoria

About Us

Emrie van Tonder Physiotherapy offers specialised care for a range of conditions with a focus on personalised treatment plans that cater to each patient’s unique needs. Emrie van Tonder, a qualified physiotherapist, graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (B. PhysT). She has gained extensive experience across various areas of physiotherapy, including Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, and even Equine Physiotherapy.

In 2015, Emrie discovered her passion for Lymphoedema management, a condition she has since become highly skilled in. After completing her internationally recognised certification with Lymph Education Africa (LEA) in 2019 and registering with the Lymph Association of South Africa (LAOSA), Emrie established her own practice. She is committed to providing her patients with the best possible care and rehabilitation, particularly in the field of Lymphoedema, which often requires specialised knowledge and care.

Her passion for education in Lymphoedema, and its treatment, has driven her to empower patients, as well as the public and medical professionals, with the necessary knowledge and resources to manage and prevent chronic swelling conditions.
