Erich Holz Physician Roodepoort

Dr Erich Holz is a Specialist Physician that is based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine degree (MBChB) at the University of Pretoria in 2012. In 2013, Dr Holz started working at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital as an intern. During his internship, he completed the advanced trauma life support and advanced cardiovascular life support course.

In 2015, Dr Holz completed his community service at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, where he also became a Medical Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine. He then enrolled for the Fellowship of the College of Physicians of South Africa. Still, in 2015, Dr Holz attended an Advanced Medical Life Support course at the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa. During this community service, he did research in the department of infectious diseases and presented his findings at the FIDSA congress. Dr Holz then began his specialist training at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016 and obtained his master’s degree in Internal Medicine with his research paper titled “Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus in Adults”. In 2019, Dr Holz obtained his FCP (SA) through the College of Medicine South-Africa.

Dr Erich Holz opened his private practice at Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital, Johannesburg in 2020.
