Famsa provides a wide range of counselling services tailored to the needs of modern families. We recognise that families come in many forms, including single-parent families, nuclear families, extended families, child-headed families, gay couples, childless couples, cohabiting couples, and blended families. Our counsellors work with all types of families to build stronger, healthier relationships.

Counselling Support

Our caring and supportive counsellors guide you every step of the way. You can meet with a counsellor in one of our offices or speak to a counsellor online. Famsa Family and Marriage Counselling Observatory ensures that every client receives personal attention and practical guidance to overcome challenges.

Training and Development

Our main offices are in Observatory and Khayelitsha, with satellite offices in Mitchell’s Plain, Factreton, Bishop Lavis/Elsies River, and Dunoon/Joe Slovo. Each location provides accessible counselling and support services for families throughout the Western Cape.
