Gail Paton has been with Orthotic Prosthetic Solutions (OPS) since 2004. She graduated from La Trobe University in 2002. At first, she worked in rehabilitative prosthetics. Soon after, she chose to focus on lower limb orthotic care. Over the years, she has gained a wealth of experience in this area.
Gail specialises in lower limb orthotic treatment. Her services include:
Designing and fitting custom orthotic devices to improve mobility
Treating clients across all ages, from children to the elderly
Creating tailored orthotic solutions that meet individual needs
Providing ongoing support and adjustments to maximise benefits
Her holistic method ensures that each device is comfortable, functional, and suits the client’s lifestyle.
Gail regularly visits rural and remote clinics in northern regions. She embraces the unique challenges these areas present. Through her work, she helps clients who might find it hard to access specialist care. She is passionate about giving equal access to quality orthotic services.
Gail is a dedicated member of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA). She attends workshops and conferences regularly. These help her stay current with new techniques and research. As a result, she applies the latest evidence-based practices in her work. This commitment benefits her clients by providing up-to-date care.
Gail works with both paediatric and aged care clients. This broad experience allows her to support people at different life stages. She believes in considering physical, social, and emotional needs when planning treatments. Her goal is to help clients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve independence. Gail’s thoughtful approach and years of experience make her a trusted professional at OPS.
