Genna Hewitson is a registered Educational Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She earned her Masters degree in Social Sciences (Educational Psychology) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2020. She works onsite at a high school in Randburg. In addition, she runs a private practice in Bryanston, Sandton during the afternoons.

Before that, she completed her Honours in Educational Psychology at the University of Johannesburg in 2016. She also worked as a Registered Counselor at several schools.
