At Innox Counselling Bath, Jacqui Edmiston offers empathetic and down-to-earth therapy rooted in real-life experience. After a diverse career in sales and communications both in the UK and abroad, she followed a natural progression into counselling. Her ability to build strong relationships and understand people’s needs now supports individuals on a deeper emotional level.
Jacqui blends empathy with insight. She brings a wealth of personal experience as a wife, mother to four adult children, daughter, sister, and friend. This gives her a grounded and relatable approach to therapy, enhanced by formal training. She understands the courage it takes to seek help, especially when you’re feeling uncertain or overwhelmed. Her own journey through therapy has shaped how she connects with clients—authentically, kindly, and without judgement.
Jacqui works with adults from all walks of life, providing one-to-one counselling sessions in a confidential and supportive environment. Her approach is relational and person-centred, helping clients explore difficult emotions and life events with trust and compassion. Some of the areas she can support include:
Anxiety and emotional overload
Low self-esteem or lack of clarity
Relationship and family difficulties
Burnout, stress, and adjustment to change
Loss, grief, and emotional pain
Identity, belonging, and life transitions
Each session is tailored to the individual, ensuring the work remains meaningful and relevant. Rather than applying one fixed method, Jacqui listens closely to your story and adapts her approach to meet your unique needs. As therapy unfolds, clients often gain fresh perspective, greater self-awareness, and the confidence to move forward.
Although therapy can seem like a big step, Jacqui creates a welcoming space where you can explore things at your own pace. She knows that talking to someone neutral—someone who won’t judge or interrupt—can make a real difference. In her care, you’ll feel seen, heard, and supported.
Jacqui is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follows their strict Code of Ethics. You can trust that your sessions will be handled with the highest professional and ethical standards.
