After graduating from Birmingham University in 1995, Dr. Parmar began his journey in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He completed basic surgical training in London and Birmingham, further refining his skills under the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Parmar then traveled to Australia for advanced training, spending five years working in Canberra and Sydney. This hands-on experience greatly enhanced his approach to treating sports injuries.
In 2006, Dr. Parmar returned to the UK and assumed the role of Club Doctor and Head of Medical Services for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Here, he gained invaluable experience working with professional athletes in the English Premier League. After two years, he moved to Leicester Tigers Rugby Football Club. As the Club Doctor and Lead Sports Physician, Dr. Parmar spent over 13 years managing complex sports injuries and promoting athlete recovery. His time at Leicester Tigers further solidified his reputation in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
Dr. Parmar’s expertise spans a variety of sports, from grassroots to elite levels. He has worked with national teams, including the Australian Men’s and Women’s Senior Hockey teams and The Wallabies. His diverse background allows him to tailor treatment plans that fit the specific needs of each individual.
