Welcome to Kind Minds Counselling, a private counselling practice offering in-person and online sessions for individuals and couples across Wolverhampton, Tettenhall, Shropshire (including Albrighton, Shifnal, Cosford, Bridgnorth) and South Staffordshire (Pattingham, Perton, Wombourne, Codsall). Led by experienced counsellor Paula, Kind Minds Counselling offers a warm, professional, and flexible therapeutic space where you can feel genuinely heard and supported.
With over 30 years’ experience in corporate communications and a deep personal understanding of the challenges she helps clients navigate, Paula brings both empathy and insight to her work. She understands how difficult it can be to reach out, and she approaches each client with kindness, respect, and absolutely no judgement.
Paula believes that you are the expert on your own life. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and your sessions will be tailored to your individual needs, at a pace and depth that feels right for you. Whether you’re at a crisis point or simply want to explore areas of your life that feel stuck, Kind Minds Counselling is a safe and confidential space where real change can begin.
Life is complicated, and we all face times when we need a helping hand to make sense of things. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or unresolved trauma, Paula offers a compassionate and structured approach to help you take back control.
In your sessions, you’ll work collaboratively to understand what’s holding you back and explore strategies to improve how you feel. Most clients begin to notice positive change within 6 to 10 sessions, with continued progress over time.
Common areas of focus include:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and low mood
Self-esteem and confidence
Family and relationship issues
Trauma and emotional overwhelm
Relationships can be both deeply fulfilling and incredibly challenging. Couples counselling provides a neutral space to explore what’s not working, improve communication, and rebuild trust and connection.
Whether you’re facing conflict, disconnection, or life transitions that are affecting your relationship, Paula will support you both in expressing your needs and hearing each other with empathy and clarity.
Kind Minds Counselling offers both in-person sessions in a peaceful rural setting and online sessions to suit your lifestyle and commitments. Many clients choose a blended approach, using both formats depending on availability or preference. Sessions are flexible and can be scheduled at varying times to fit around work and family life.
If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, Paula offers a free, no-obligation initial phone call. You’re welcome to text 07496 356416 to arrange a time to talk.
Clients consistently describe Paula as warm, down-to-earth, patient, and deeply empathetic. Many have said they found it difficult to trust others in the past, but felt safe and respected in her presence. Her calm, thoughtful approach allows clients to explore difficult and sometimes long-buried emotions with confidence.
Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or a general sense that things aren’t right, Kind Minds Counselling offers a therapeutic experience rooted in authenticity, care, and professional integrity. Paula is here to help you move forward, one step at a time.
