Jamie has wide experience in private physiotherapy practice and managed a clinic before joining King & Verwey Physiotherapy. He has a special interest in adolescent sports injuries, especially rugby. His experience includes work with Rondebosch Boys’ High School rugby teams, WP Craven Week, and WP U/19 teams. He also completed an internship at WP Rugby, where he focused on the long-term rehabilitation of injured professional players.
As a former provincial-level rugby, cricket, and tennis player, Jamie understands the physical and mental challenges of injury recovery. His passion for sport and rehabilitation led him to complete a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town. His energy, knowledge, and commitment have already helped many athletes and individuals.
Lianne is a dedicated and caring physiotherapist who takes a whole-person approach to treatment. As a former elite South African gymnast, she understands the demands of sport and recovery after injury. Her own experiences led to her passion for physiotherapy. She now uses her knowledge to help patients restore movement, function, and overall well-being.
Lianne has worked in several private practices. For over six years, she has provided sports injury strapping and rugby field-side physiotherapy. She has supported high school rugby teams and the WP U/21 squad. She also completed a registrar programme at WP Rugby, where she managed the long-term rehabilitation of professional players. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Exercise & Sports Physiotherapy at UCT.
