About Larissa Ernst

Dr. Larissa Ernst is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a diverse background in both South Africa and Belgium. Originally from South Africa, she has had the privilege of working across multiple towns and cities in her home country, giving her a deep appreciation for the rich cultural diversity of South Africa, which boasts 11 indigenous languages and cultures. Since 2017, Larissa has been living and practising as an expat in Belgium, further broadening her international experience.

Over the years, Larissa has worked with a wide range of clients, including expatriates, offering her expertise to those navigating the complexities of cross-cultural living and adjustment. She has also played a pivotal role as a trainer in applied psychology, working both at university level and through a training centre she co-founded in 2010, the Satori Centre for Psychotherapy Training. In addition to her work as a psychologist, Larissa continues to manage the Satori Health Centre in Garsfontein, Pretoria, a multi-disciplinary practice where the training centre is now integrated.

With her vast experience and commitment to promoting well-being, Larissa brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her clinical work, helping individuals address various psychological challenges.
