Orit Grossman Play Therapist Bryanston specializes in helping children unlock their true potential. With years of experience, Orit uses play therapy to support children through their emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Her goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where children can express themselves and work through their difficulties.
Orit Grossman holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Witwatersrand. She is also a qualified primary and high school teacher. Her diverse background allows her to offer a holistic approach, combining her educational and psychological expertise.
Orit’s journey into play therapy started during her teaching career. As she worked with children in the classroom, she saw how individualized support could transform a child’s experience. She noticed that when children receive therapy that caters to their unique context, they thrive in all aspects of their lives. This realization led Orit to become a Play Therapist.
After gaining experience in NGOs, Orit entered private practice in 2007. Over the years, she has helped many children overcome their emotional and behavioral challenges. She uses play therapy techniques to help children express themselves, build trust, and develop coping strategies.
Play therapy offers a unique approach to emotional and psychological healing. Children often find it easier to communicate through play rather than words. Through play, Orit helps children work through their struggles in a safe, non-judgmental space. Play therapy builds confidence, reduces anxiety, and promotes emotional growth. It also enhances a child’s social skills and problem-solving abilities.
In addition to individual therapy, Orit provides family support. She works closely with parents to offer guidance and strategies for supporting their child’s emotional well-being. Orit understands the importance of a strong partnership between therapist, child, and family.
Orit is not alone in her mission to help children and families. She is joined by other skilled professionals dedicated to providing expert psychological support. The team works together to ensure each child receives the care and attention they deserve.
Chad Edery, Clinical Psychologist, and Anka Lampen, Educational Psychologist, both offer additional expertise in supporting children and adolescents. Together, they provide a well-rounded approach to psychological care.
