About

With a deep commitment to an integrated approach, she has developed and facilitated a number of original family programmes for those affected by addiction at various treatment facilities across South Africa.

Additionally, she is a registered Somatic Movement Educator with ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association).

Her practice incorporates Somatic Awareness, Mindfulness, Narrative Practice, and Non-Violent Communication, all of which help clients navigate their personal and relational challenges. Katy has been a student of consciousness and has practised meditation and yoga for over 20 years, which further informs her approach. She has a keen interest in the role of spirituality and creativity in the process of change and healing.

Katy offers her expertise to individuals, couples, and families facing the effects of addiction, trauma, loss, anxiety, and other life stressors.
