Rob Whittaker Clinical Psychologist Rondebosch
Joy and distress are universal aspects of life that are influenced by the unseen relationship we each maintain with ourselves.
Our relationship with ourselves shapes our choices, our interest in relationships with others, and the vitality of our daily life. This self-relationship is so ingrained in our experience that it can be hard to notice its impact on our emotions.
When stress or emotional turmoil increases, it becomes harder to address sadness, anxiety, loss, or a lack of meaning. Facing these phases alone can feel overwhelming.
Rob Whittaker Clinical Psychologist Rondebosch works with clients to build depth, meaning, and self-assurance. Together, we aim for a clearer understanding of yourself and develop practical tools to face life’s challenges.
My approach combines Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Psychodynamic Attachment Psychotherapy (PAP). I adapt these methods to your needs and current circumstances.
