Robyn Tacon Physiotherapist Randburg offers expert care and a hands-on approach to therapy. With a BSc in Physiotherapy from UCT, she has accumulated over a decade of experience in both neurodevelopmental therapy and general physiotherapy. Robyn believes in communication and collaboration. She works closely with her patients and their families, ensuring the best outcomes and long-term benefits from therapy.
Robyn’s career spans across multiple specialties. She completed her Neurodevelopmental Therapist (NDT) certification with SANTA in 2009. In 2011, she became a TheraTogs Practitioner, which enhanced her ability to provide tailored rehabilitation solutions. Robyn then pursued further expertise in Advanced NDT for Babies and Children with Dyskinesia. Her journey also led her to the NICU Neurodevelopmental Supportive Care certification, a field she is deeply passionate about.
Throughout her career, Robyn has worked with a wide range of conditions. She has treated children with special needs, musculoskeletal issues, and neurological conditions. Robyn’s expertise includes movement analysis and educational strategies. She works with children, from the NICU to those with developmental challenges, aiming to enhance mobility and life quality. Additionally, Robyn is an Advanced General Movements Assessment Practitioner. Her experience allows her to cater to individual needs and provide lasting solutions.
Robyn’s strong sense of duty extends beyond her practice. She has a passion for serving disadvantaged communities. Her work includes providing therapy to orphaned children and families who cannot afford interventions. Furthermore, Robyn’s interest in Medicolegal Practice has grown.
