About

At S Physio Norwich, clients receive more than just treatment—they experience dedicated care driven by clinical excellence and a passion for helping others. With over nine years of experience in private practice, I specialise in work-related and sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. My background also includes serving as the lead physiotherapist for a respected stroke charity (NSSC), working in association with the Stroke Association. This dual expertise allows me to provide a uniquely comprehensive and patient-focused service.

With a holistic philosophy at the heart of my practice, I tailor every treatment plan to suit each patient’s unique needs and preferences. Rather than only addressing the site of pain, I assess and treat multiple areas to uncover the root causes of discomfort. This integrative approach ensures long-lasting results and reduces the risk of re-injury.

Services

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

From repetitive strain injuries to sports-related trauma, I treat a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal complaints. Whether you’re recovering from a workplace incident or trying to get back to your favourite sport, I’ll create a personalised plan that addresses your pain while improving strength and mobility.

Neurological Support

My work with the NSSC involves treating patients recovering from stroke. This experience informs my broader physiotherapy practice by enhancing my understanding of neurological rehabilitation, motor retraining, and balance work. I bring this knowledge into all relevant treatment sessions for patients facing similar challenges.

Holistic Treatment Techniques

Depending on your clinical findings, I may employ a combination of techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and postural training. The aim is not just to relieve symptoms, but also to address underlying causes. I place strong emphasis on education, helping you understand your condition to promote faster recovery and avoid future issues.

Self-Management and Lifestyle Advice

Treatment doesn’t stop at the clinic door. I work with you to develop a sustainable, active lifestyle that complements our therapy sessions. This includes practical advice, realistic home exercises, and tips on injury prevention. Encouraging self-management is central to improving your overall well-being and maintaining long-term results.

Additional Information

I hold a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia (UEA), supported by a prior Bachelor’s degree in Medicine. My clinical foundation is robust, and I continually update my knowledge to stay aligned with the latest best practices in physiotherapy.

My patient base grows largely through professional and personal referrals—a reflection of the care and attention each client receives. Outside the clinic, I’m an avid participant in both summer and winter sports. You might catch me at Snowfit & Revolutionz enjoying some much-needed recreational time.
