The South African Immunology Society (SAIS) is affiliated with the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) and the Federation of African Immunological Societies. Its mission is to promote and support immunology research on local, regional, and international levels, covering fields such as infectious diseases, primary immunodeficiency, allergy, rheumatology, transplantation, reproductive immunology, and veterinary medicine.
