History and Founder

Father Stan Brennan, a Franciscan priest, founded St Francis Care Centre in 1992. Witnessing the neglect and ostracization of people affected by HIV/AIDS in the 1980s inspired him to create a safe haven. Many patients were dying alone, without support from family or community. Father Brennan established St Francis Care Centre to provide care with warmth, dignity, and love.

Children’s Care Section
