Taylor Franz (Golach) Physiotherapist Northcliff brings years of experience and passion to the field. She joined the Poulter-Simon Physiotherapy team in 2015, where her love for orthopaedics flourished. Dedicated to continuous learning, she strives to provide the best care possible.
Taylor graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2013. She then completed her community service at Chiawelo Clinic, working with the Johannesburg Metro Rehabilitation Team. During this time, she gained hands-on experience in neuromusculoskeletal therapy, hydrotherapy, and hippotherapy. This diverse exposure strengthened her clinical skills and deepened her understanding of patient care.
Taylor remains committed to professional growth. In 2016, she completed an intensive specialisation course in orthopaedic and manipulative therapy. Since then, she has pursued multiple postgraduate courses to refine her skills. Her qualifications include training in dry needling, Kinesio taping, and chronic pain management. She actively stays updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy.
Taylor is a registered physiotherapist on the Discovery Spinal Conservative Care Program. She applies evidence-based techniques to support patients with spinal conditions. Through hands-on therapy and targeted interventions, she helps individuals manage pain and regain mobility.
Taylor believes in the power of education. She serves as an assistant on the South Gauteng Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) course, where she helps train aspiring physiotherapists. Her dedication to teaching reflects her passion for improving the profession and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Beyond physiotherapy, Taylor maintains an active lifestyle. She enjoys Barre, Ballet, Yoga, Pilates, and Hockey. Fitness remains a core part of her routine, helping her stay strong and balanced. Additionally, she is a registered yoga teacher, further enhancing her ability to guide patients in movement and rehabilitation. In her free time, she loves reading and expanding her knowledge.
