The Bath Counselling Practice

About the Practice

At The Bath Counselling Practice, we believe in helping people reconnect with who they truly are. Life inevitably brings change. Sometimes these changes are smooth, but at other times, they feel overwhelming. During these challenging moments, it’s perfectly okay to admit that things aren’t going well.

Rather than offering quick fixes or generic advice, I work with you to explore the underlying patterns and beliefs that may be affecting your wellbeing. Through counselling, you can begin to break cycles of unhelpful habits, behaviours, or relationships that may have shaped your current struggles.

Together, we’ll create a supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. You’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your emotional patterns and explore new, healthier ways of thinking and being.

Services Offered

I tailor each session to suit your individual needs, always working collaboratively and with empathy. Counselling provides you with a space to reflect and reset. Whether you’re experiencing a clear crisis or just sensing something is “off,” I’m here to support you.

Counselling can help with the following issues:

  • Anxiety & Depression – Gain tools and insight to manage emotional highs and lows more effectively.

  • Intrusive Thoughts – Learn how to interrupt repetitive, distressing thought loops.

  • Antenatal & Postnatal Depression – Receive support through emotional shifts during or after pregnancy.

  • Identity & Low Self-Esteem – Challenge limiting beliefs and build self-confidence.

  • Relationship Difficulties – Understand and improve how you relate to others.

  • Grief & Loss – Navigate bereavement and life transitions with greater clarity.

  • Trauma & Childhood Experiences – Address earlier life events that still impact your wellbeing.

  • Addictions & Obsessive Behaviours – Develop healthier coping strategies to regain control.

  • Anger Management – Understand the roots of your anger and channel it more constructively.

  • Stress & Burnout – Identify sources of chronic stress and build resilience.

  • Phobias – Overcome irrational fears through gradual, supported steps.

Additional Information

Sessions take place in a quiet, welcoming location in Bath. Each appointment lasts 50 minutes and typically happens once a week, although I offer flexibility based on your needs. You’ll always be met with respect, care, and complete confidentiality.

While change can feel daunting, it often begins with something simple—such as having one honest conversation. If you’re ready to start that journey or just want to learn more, please reach out. I’d be happy to talk with you.
