The Family Counselling Centre Fish Hoek provides professional and affordable support to individuals, families, and the wider community. We focus on building healthy relationships, addressing challenges, and helping clients find practical solutions. Each person receives tailored care in a safe and supportive environment.
The Family Counselling Centre Fish Hoek encourages and facilitates healthy relationships. We aim to empower individuals and families to cope with life’s pressures. Our vision is to be a central resource in the South Peninsula, offering affordable, professional counselling to families, couples, and individuals.
Although our values are rooted in a Christian ethos, we welcome clients of all races, religions, and backgrounds. Our qualified counsellors provide competent, empathetic care. Clients who cannot afford full fees receive reduced rates. A percentage of our practitioners’ time is dedicated to pro bono work, ensuring everyone can access support.
We provide personalised one-on-one counselling for emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges. Individual sessions help clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. Each session encourages self-reflection, resilience, and practical coping strategies.
The Family Counselling Centre Fish Hoek offers therapy for families and couples. We help improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen bonds. Sessions focus on understanding each person’s perspective and creating effective solutions together.
Our team supports children and teens facing social, behavioural, or academic challenges. We collaborate with schools, parents, and caregivers to address developmental, emotional, and learning difficulties. The goal is to foster healthy growth and positive coping skills.
We run workshops on co-parenting, digital wellness, mindfulness, and mental health awareness. These events educate and empower the community while promoting wellbeing. Participants learn practical tools to improve daily life, reduce stress, and build strong relationships.
Fees are structured to accommodate different needs. Individual sessions start at R550, relationship sessions at R650, and children’s sessions at R650. Senior counsellors offer slightly higher rates, with flexible options for reduced or pro bono fees.
The Family Counselling Centre Fish Hoek combines professional expertise with compassion. Our services respond to challenges like divorce, financial strain, substance abuse, trauma, and disability. We aim to create a supportive, empowering environment where clients can explore solutions and regain confidence.
