Tim Young Optician continues a four-generation tradition in the Greater Shankill area. Tim has recently opened his own independent practice at 156 Shankill Road, bringing excellent eyecare, the latest eyewear styles, and great offers to the community. His goal is to offer high-quality, personalised service to every patient who walks through the door.

Having grown up in the Greater Shankill area, Tim understands the importance of the local community. He shared, "I’ve always been aware of the importance of eyecare, as my grandfather lost his sight at a young age. I attended primary school in the Greater Shankill and then went on to Belfast Boys' Model School, where I decided I wanted to become an optometrist. Now, I’m proud to have my practice right here in the heart of the Shankill."

Tim is passionate about supporting the Greater Shankill’s "Shop Local, Support Local" campaign. As a result, he has involved local businesses in setting up and running his practice. This creates a unique, community-focused experience for his patients.
