About Vanessa

Vanessa is an experienced orthotist and prosthetist who brings a practical and friendly approach to her work. She began her career in Canberra, where she spent a year with a large multidisciplinary team. This role helped her build strong teamwork skills and gave her early exposure to a wide range of client needs.

In June 2021, she returned to Melbourne—her hometown—and joined the oapl team. Since then, she has continued to grow her skills and deepen her passion for helping people move better and feel more confident in daily life.

Her Clinical Focus

Vanessa supports both orthotic and prosthetic clients, always aiming to help them reach their personal goals. She works closely with each individual to make sure their care is tailored and practical.

Neuromuscular Conditions

Vanessa works regularly with people who have conditions such as multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy. These clients often face challenges with movement and strength. She designs supports that make walking, standing, and day-to-day life easier and safer.
