Viljoen Physiotherapist Pretoria, we believe that movement is an important part of good health and can help people recover, stay active, and feel their best.
Founded by Cobus Viljoen, the practice provides patient-centred physiotherapy care in Pretoria. Cobus completed his studies at the University of the Free State in 2016. He has a strong passion for treating aches, pains, and sports-related injuries.
Our goal is to restore mobility and help patients keep moving. We also aim to make rehabilitation effective and stress-free. Therefore, we focus on each patient’s needs and create treatment plans that support long-term wellness.
Since launching the practice in 2021, we have created a unique gym-based setup. This gives patients a dynamic and functional environment for physiotherapy treatment. In addition, we work alongside biokineticists, personal trainers, and general practitioners. As a result, patients receive care that supports recovery and physical performance.
First, we look for the root cause of pain or dysfunction. We complete thorough assessments to identify musculoskeletal conditions. Then, we create a treatment plan based on each patient’s individual needs.
We use evidence-based techniques to support pain relief, restore mobility, and aid injury recovery. Our physiotherapy treatments include:
Active people and athletes often need focused rehabilitation after an injury. Therefore, we work with personal trainers and biokineticists to create effective return-to-sport programmes.
These programmes focus on:
Recovery after surgery can take time. However, guided rehabilitation can help patients regain mobility and function. Our post-surgical care includes structured exercise programmes and hands-on treatment to support healing.
We treat several conditions that can cause ongoing pain and discomfort. These include:
Finally, we provide sports massage therapy to help relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery. This can benefit people who take part in intense training, repetitive movements, or physically demanding activities.
