Vincenzo has worked in private practice as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychoanalyst, and Group Analyst from 2015 to the present. Since 2009, he has also served as a Faculty Member and Group Therapy Supervisor at the Centre for Group Analytic Studies. Since 2006, he has served as Clinical Seminar Group Chair for the South African Psychoanalysis Initiative.

Previously, he worked as a Psychotherapist and Group Psychotherapist in private practice from 2009 to 2015. He also served as Chairperson of the Cape Town Society for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from 2010 to 2011.

Previous Experience & Education

From 2007 to 2009, Vincenzo worked as a Clinical Psychologist and Group Psychotherapist in private practice in Johannesburg. Before that, he served as a Community Service Psychologist with Region A Psychiatric Services from 2006 to 2007. From 2005 to 2006, he worked as a Marital and Individual Counsellor at the Family Life Centre. He also worked as a Group Facilitator for Shaping the Learner, Randburg Police Station, and the RAU Trauma Clinic.

His education includes IPA Accredited Training in Psychoanalysis through SAPA and an International Diploma in Group Analysis from the Institute of Group Analysis, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Therapeutic Communication with Children from Tavistock Clinic, UK; an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand; a Diploma in Psychological Trauma from Traumatology Services International; Honours in Applied Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
