To ensure effective therapy, she emphasizes a holistic approach. And involves children, teachers, and parents to better understand key areas of development and associated behaviours. Her Educational Psychology practice in Somerset West prioritises children’s overall well-being, going beyond their individual roles in learning and development.

Lauren completed her Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015. Her passion for the field was ignited during her time as a Locum at St. Sithians Boys Preparatory. This was where she taught intermediate phase education after obtaining her honours in Psychology in 2012. She focuses on the development of children and understanding the various factors that shape their journey from birth to adulthood.

Since January 2018, she has been the head of Learning Support at EDU360 Integrated Remedial Education, allowing her to combine private practice with her involvement in this outstanding institution. She is dedicated to ongoing personal and professional growth, currently undergoing her final year of training in Sandplay Therapy with the International Society of Sandplay Therapy. Her ultimate goal is to integrate this approach as her primary modality of therapy in the near future.
